After hotel blast British Airways suspends air services to Pak

Marriott HotelLahore, Sept 22 : British Airways (BA) has suspended flights to Pakistan after Saturday’s Marriott Hotel suicide attack in Islamabad in which at least 60 people, including four foreigners, were killed and more than 200 dead.

The air services would remain suspended until September 29, the Daily Times quoted British authorities as saying.

However, Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Director General said that he had no information regarding the suspension of British air services.

It is believed that the terrorists had targeted the only five star hotel in Pakistani Capital especially because it is frequented by foreigners. (ANI)
