After a series of flops from Yash Raj Films, ace film maker Aditya Chopra is confident over his upcoming directorial venture “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi”, which will hit theatres on December 12, 2008.

It is learnt that promotional activities of the movie have been affected a lot by the Mumbai attacks but there is a strong change in the attitude of the introvert filmmaker.

Adi is always known to be tightlipped about his movies, but this time, he held a special screening for SRK, Karan Johar, Gauri Khan and her kids and the film’s novice Anushka Sharma to get the right feedback before the release of “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi”.

The sources revealed, “The film was liked by Shah Rukh’s kids as well as all those who saw it. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is a simple love story and its best part is said to be when Shah Rukh acts like Shammi Kapoor and Rajesh Khanna. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ has super-hit written all over it. The movie is quite funny and has some spectacular dance sequences.”

The story of the film revolves around a dance reality show called ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. In the film, King Khan is married to newcomer Anushka Sharma, and there is a big age gap between them and they are not what one would call a ‘perfect couple.’

They are just stretching out their marriage due to personality differences, and it seems more of a compromise.
