Yamaha registers 30% growth in July
The Indian subsidiary of the Japanese two-wheeler major, Yamaha has been able to make a substantial place for itself in the Indian market after it made a comeback.
In fact, the company has been able to clock a 30% growth in its volumes for the month of July.
Experts are supporting the fact that as the growth is backed by impressive product lineup; India Yamaha Motor is all set to drive on the next path of growth in the domestic circuit.
Yukimine Tsuji, CEO & MD, India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd said that the growth is a testimonial to the fact that the company has been able to make an impressive space in the minds of the Indian consumer and it will be launching a slew of models in the Indian market that will determine the success of the company for the rest of the year.
While the company sold 29,728 units in July 2010 as against 22,807 units sold in July 2009 n an overall basis, its domestic volumes stood at 22, 899 units in July 2010 as compared to 17, 316 units in the same month last year.
