Microsoft Windows Phone 7 update has caused trouble for users. Though Microsoft is trying its best to provide its users with quality services, a glitch ruined the game.  Microsoft has called back a software update for Samsung phones as it is showing problem to few devices.

It is reported that this update has made several phones unusable. This update is delivered to smartphones using Zune software for Windows OS and for Mac, using Windows Phone 7 Connector Mac, when  user connects phone via USB.

Microsoft said in an official release, "In response to this emerging issue, we have temporarily taken down the latest software update for Samsung phones in order to correct the issue and as soon as possible will redistribute the update."

Though, media reports suggest that the bug has infected majority of number of phones, Microsoft has said that it is a technical issue with 'small' number of phones. According to users, this update in Windows Phone 7 was only a core update and does not include features previously marketed like cut-and-paste feature and enhanced search for its Marketplace.

Now users are posting issue to forums and communities. Most affected phones are Samsung Omnia. However Microsoft is committed to provide patch to this problem and has said that they will soon redistribute the update. But meanwhile, users will have to wait.

Microsoft has teamed up with several phone manufacturers to install Windows Phone 7 in their products. But this mobile OS is facing severe competition from Apple iOS, Google's open source Android among others. This was the first update in Windows Phone 7 since its launch in October.
