Will Kumble play in the 2nd match at Mohali?

Will Kumble play in the 2nd match at Mohali? The stage is all set for the second test match between India and Australia in Mohali, but it is still not clear whether the Indian skipper Anil Kumble would play the match or not. Kumble, the highest wicket taker for India, failed to pick up a single wicket in the first test match at Bangalore. Due to a shoulder injury, he also dropped two vital catches in the match.

Commenting over his shoulder injury, the 37 year old Jumbo said, “I’m feeling better now, will decide on my playing tomorrow morning.”

Meanwhile, Indian coach Gary Kirsten believes that the Indian skipper would recover fully by Thursday. "We are monitoring his progress. He has some pain (in the shoulder). He is a warrior and would surely want to play," Kirsten said.

A restless Kumble is irked with the media. Speaking with the media persons after the Bangalore test, Kumble said, “I think just one failure should not be used against a player. As a captain, I have played my part. But I could not take wickets. It is not possible for a bowler to take wickets in every Test as everybody has an off day.”
