Vodafone to lure Britons
Vodafone is devising new attempts to increase its database. To start with, it has rolled out revamped sim-only plans. It targets the customers who will run out of contract of the iPhone users, i.e. the O2 customers.
Almost ten packages ranging from £10 to £30 with varied plans like extra minutes, texts and offers pertaining to calls to landlines and also mobile internet and data download. And also comes what is called as BT Openzone Wi-Fi access.
The timings of the contracts run from 1 month periods, others for a year. For example £25 a month for one year, one could get a Sim, 1200 talk minutes, unlimited texting, unlimited calls to landlines and 500MB of mobile broadband usage. Or, for the same money, one can avail for a fewer minutes - 900 - but gain 1GB of mobile broadband and free Wi-Fi.
Vodafone throws a number of options to the buyer, which makes it difficult to choose a plan. Although, each plan is lucrative and lures the taker to go for it. It poses a threat for other competitors as Vodafone might be successful in grabbing the market share of other networks.
