‘Tweed tells fellow inmates Goody’s death set him up for life’

‘Tweed tells fellow inmates Goody’s death set him up for life’London, April 25 : Jack Tweed reportedly headed for sun bathing after telling his fellow prisoners that Jade Goody's death "set him up for life".

The widower, who is serving 12 weeks for assault on a taxi driver, was said to have been topping up his tan for an hour daily in the Chelmsford Prison, Essex.

The 21-year-old allegedly bragged about his bulky bank balance gathered from interviews, thanks to the media circus around the death of 27-year-old Jade, who lost her battle to cervical cancer on March 22.

"Jack thinks this place is a holiday camp," the Sun quoted an insider at the category B jail as saying.

"He gets a hard time off the young offenders but he hits back by telling them he's loaded and set up for life.

"He's regarded as a bit of a celeb. He gets an hour a day outside and all he seems to care about is getting a tan.

"Everyone thinks he's got it made. So does he," the insider added.

In addition to banking more than 50,000 pounds from media deals made by the late reality star, Jack received nearly 70,000 pounds for a magazine interview after Jade's death, as per reports.

Jack, who was purportedly shifted to a category C jail in Newmarket, Suffolk for his remaining sentence, was said to have shelled 350,000 pounds on a pad near his mother's home in Buckhurst Hill, Essex. (ANI)
