Toshiba Rolls Out G50, F50, GX, FX LaptopsToshiba, world’s fifth major personal computer manufacturer has announced the introduction of its 4 new Dynabook Qosmio-series notebooks christened G50, F50, GX and FX for the Japanese market.

According to sources, the Qosmio G50 and F50 are multimedia notebooks, whereas the Qosmio GX and FX are designed for gaming freaks.

With 570GB of hard drive space and SpursEngine Graphic card, the Qosmio G50 notbook comes loaded with 4GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics card and dual-core 2.4GHz Intel CPU .

To draw the customers, it also includes 18.4-inch 1920x1080 LCD screen, 4 USB ports, 1.3 megapixel web cam, fingerprint sensor, digital TV tuner and dual layer DVD burner.

With a 15.4” and 1,280 x 800 resolution screen, the Qosmio F50 comes pack with a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8600, 4 GB RAM, Intel GMA45 Express integrated graphics, 250GB hard drive and a 2.4hr battery life.

Whereas the Qosmio GX is a gaming specific notebook that comes embedded with 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8600, 4GB RAM.  

Along with some other goodies, it includes 18.4in 1680 x 965 screen, nVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT graphics, 320GB hard drive, 1.4 lbs weight and a 4hr battery.

Qosmio FX is also focused at enticing enthusiastic gamers. It possesses features similar to the GX. Distinct features include a 15.4” 1,280 x 800 screen, 2.4 hr battery and a total weight of 7.3 lbs. Both gaming notebooks also include an integrated draft-N 2.0 Wi-Fi module.

Though there’s no word on the price and availability of the F50, the G50 is expected to ship before the end 2008 at approximate price range of $2,900 to $3,780. The FX should launch by end of this year while the GX should be released by early January 2009.
