Reportedly, the new HP Mini 1000 netbook and HP Mini 700 would be equipped with Windows XP only. The customers will however get a choice between Windows XP and Vista, if they opt for HP Mini 2140.

San Francisco  - A day after reporting a 13 per cent drop in profits, computer and printing giant HP announced a company-wide pay cut which it said was the best alternative to widespread job cuts.

The world's largest personal-computer maker said it will reduce the salary of CEO Mark Hurd's by 20 per cent, executives' pay by 10 per cent to 15 per cent, and most employees' salaries by 5 percent.

New Delhi, Feb 19 : Fed up of the BCCI-Sony controversy (now Multi Screen Media), Sony Entertainment CEO Kunal Dasgupta has resigned from his duties with immediate effect from February 19.

Confirming his resignation to Economic Times Dasgupta said that he does not know what he will do next after leaving the company.

Till a replacement for Dasgupta is found, Chairman of the Multi Screen Media (MSM) board Manjit Singh, has been named interim CEO.
