Technology makes people forgetful, survey

Technology-people-forgetfulAs per a new research it was found that over use of technology is hampering human memory, reports The Daily Telegraph.

The survey, was done by Michael Lynch of Credit Card Protection Company (CCP), has coined a term for forgetful memory termed as "numerical amnesia".

According to Lynch people now store contact details in phone memories, as they think this to be an easy way of not remembering it.

The figures for the same hints that approximately 47 per cent of the 2,000 UK adults surveyed were unable to remember their partner's phone number and 61 per cent fall short to recall their best  friend's number.

In addition this 45 per cent of the mass could not remember their parents' contact information which was again surprising for us.

In lieu of this matter Lynch said: "It shows that people are so heavily reliant on their mobile phones that they'd be lost without them. And even if not caught in an emergency situation, our research shows that over four in ten victims have admitted that they've lost contact with friends when they've lost or had their phones stolen."
