As the IT arm of the conglomerate, Mahindra & Mahindra Group, Tech Mahindra is reaching on to new skies by the day, the company has been recently rewarded by AT&T for its continuous efforts to strike gold.

The company became a de facto #4 in the Indian IT industry after the acquisition of the beleaguered Satyam Computers Services last year and the recent award by AT&T as the outstanding supplier to the company for the past one year.

AT&T, one of the world's leading data, voice, wireless and internet services providers, is one of the major customers of Tech Mahindra that accounts for almost more than 10% revenues of the company. It may be noted here that BT is the largest customer of Tech Mahindra that contributes almost 60% to the revenues of the company.

However, Tech Mahindra was one of only six suppliers to receive the 2010 AT&T Supplier Award out of a long list due to its impeccable efforts to make AT&T carry cutting edge technology for its consumers. AT&T recently sold its 7% stake in the IT arm of M&M while 6% of it was acquired by Life Corporation of India.
