A new line of 2.5” portable hard drives, which include the world’s first half-terabyte 2.5” drive featuring an industry standard 9.5mm Z-height drive, has been announced by Verbatim.

The consumers and businesses would also get an advantage to add from 120 to 500GB removable capacity to their computers through these new external drives.

The new drive has weight of 170 grams and measures only 86mm x 137mm x 16mm. Another fabulous features of these drives are Verbatim's 500GB 2.5" SmartDisk HDD, which makes it extremely easy to carry while traveling with the lap top and also requires less desk space when connected  to a desktop system.
