Washington, April 23 : John Travolta, who lost his 16-year-old son Jett in January, reportedly jetted alone to Tahiti for the weekend.

The `Grease' actor allegedly piloted his private 707 to stay at the plush Intercontinental Tahiti resort in a deluxe room with breathtaking views.

The 55-year-old kept to himself in the room until he departed from the island on April 19, according to sources.

"He told the hotel manager, ''I don''t want to see anyone. I only want to rest,''" People magazine quoted a source as saying.

Melbourne, April 17 : John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston reportedly jetted into Australia for a three-day visit.

The Hollywood couple had previously been avoiding the spotlight after losing their 16-year-old son Jett, who died from a seizure during a family holiday in the Bahamas on January 2.

The pair, who have barely stepped out of their Florida compound since the tragedy, appeared to be moving on as they left crisis-hit Fiji to arrive in Brisbane.

As per a source close to the family, the two celebrated the day "just as they would any other year".

London, April 5 : Tom Cruise is planning a remake of the classic 1969 `Western Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid', starring himself and close pal John Travolta.

An associate has revealed that Cruise got the blessing of Paul Newman just months before the actor died of lung cancer last September.

Cruise, 46, wants to cast himself as Sundance, played by Robert Redford in the original, while Travolta, 55, will follow in Newman's footsteps as Cassidy.
