London, January 8 : John Travolta will bid his late son, Jett, a final goodbye in a private Scientology memorial service.

The actor's 16-year-old son, who had Kawasaki Syndrome, a rare condition that can lead to heart disease, died from a seizure on January 2 during a family holiday in the Bahamas.

He was cremated on January 5.

The couple's 16-year-old son, Jeff, who began suffering from seizures at the age of two, was found unconscious in a bathroom in the family's holiday home in the Bahamas.

The youngster had later been taken to Rand Memorial Hospital, Freeport, where he was pronounced dead on January 2, and subsequent autopsy revealed `seizure' as the cause of his death, reports Sky News.

The couple flew on their private jet to their Florida home, with the ashes of their teenage son. An autopsy conducted earlier in the day found that Jett had died by "seizure disorder."

Washington, Jan 6 : The autopsy for American actor John Travolta's son Jett, completed in the Bahamas on January 5, has shown that the 16-year-old's death was due to a seizure.

A funeral home official revealed that Jett Travolta''s death certificate listed the cause of death as `seizure'.

Pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht said that the official autopsy report might take weeks to be released.
