Tata Tele launches GSM services in Maharashtra
Tata Teleservices Maharashtra today rolled out its much awaited GSM services in Mumbai and across Maharashtra under the brand name `TATA DOCOMO.'
According to sources, the company has pumped about Rs 1000 crore in its GSM network.
Under an introductory offer, people of Mumbai and Maharashtra, will get lifetime validity, alongwith one paise per second for all calls across India from TATA DOCOMO.
In order to enthrall its customers, TATA DOCOMO is also offering international calling on a per-second billing model. In a separate release, the company has informed that now customers will have to pay only for the seconds utilized.
Consumers can also avail `pay for three and get 100 SMS free` offer everyday.
The sources said that the company is also offering variety of postpaid plans designed for a range of consumer requirements on this per-second billing.
Tata Teleservices Maharashtra is a sister company of Tata Teleservices, in which Japan's NTT DoCoMo holds 26% stake.
