Tata motors launch Sumo Grande for Gen-next
Mumbai, Mar 1 : Tata Motors today launched the Sumo Grande, the new version of the Sumo utility vehicle that has been redesigned to combine the look and feel of a utility vehicle and a family car.
Sumo Grande has been specifically designed to satisfy the needs of city customers in the areas of drivability, manoeuvrability and fuel efficiency.
The Sumo Grande sports an all-new style with clean chiselled looks mating with flowing contours. The tall aggressive stance is complimented by large clear headlamps and cutaway air dam in the front.
"The Sumo Grande is for customers in the urban and semi urban markets. That is what we are really planning to cater to. It is very attractively priced in Mumbai", said S. Krishnan, Vice President of the Passenger Car Business Unit of TATA Motors.
The Sumo Grande sports comfortable three rows seating with best in the class being third row seats. Beige interiors are complimented by fire and stain resistant fabric upholstery. Dual HVAC with roof-integrated louvers ensures personalised climate adjustment for the occupants in each row.
Power steering, power windows, motorised ORVMs, height adjustable driver's seat and a state of the art CD/MP3 music systems further add to the comforts and convenience of a family travelling in the Sumo Grande.
Sumo Grande will be available in 3 variants Lx, Ex and Gx. The vehicle will be available in seven colours including four new shades. The Sumo Grande range is priced in the range of Rs 6.70 lakh to Rs 7.68 Lakh. (ANI)
