Tata Motors to introduce new cars for India and ChinaTo be able to tap the unused potential of the fuel efficient cars in the emerging markets especially in India and China, Tata Motors has decided that it will launch a new range of fuel efficient cars for these regions.

The Indian automakers is relying big time on the emerging markets and is thus going to look for ways to be able to boost the sales of luxury brands like Land Rover and Jaguar in the region.

For Indian markets alone, Tata Motors is going to come up with a new cross-over vehicle along with two new passenger vehicles and a new range of heavy trucks. This was said by the Chairman Ratan Tata.

In the annual report the company has said, "The current range of vehicles has seen resurgence in demand, and the challenge before the company today is to deliver enough vehicles to meet market demand."

He further added that China has come up as the third largest market for Land Rover and that it is already doing studies to consider option to be able to increase its market penetration.
