Hamburg - Adrian Sutil has dismissed speculation that he won't be driving for the Force India Formula One team next year.

"I have a clear statement from the team that they are planning with me. Anyway, I already have a valid contract for 2009," the 25- year-old German told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa.

Although Force India announced last month that Sutil would be retained in 2009, speculation has grown over his future ever since a new engine deal was signed with McLaren-Mercedes on November 10. (dpa)
