Sony Ericsson presents new Walkman phones
Dusseldorf, Germany - Sony Ericsson has announced the release of three new Walkman phones for autumn 2008. The Quad-Band W902 model supports UMTS with HSDPA and comes with enough storage for up to 8,000 music tracks. It includes a built-in 5 megapixel camera and costs 499 euros (782 dollars) without a contract. The W59, which costs 279 euros, will also support UMTS with HSDPA, but will only come with 2 gigabytes of memory, a quarter of the W902's capacity. The W302 is the entry-level version Walkman phone and costs 169 euros. The quad-band mobile supports EDGE and GPRS for data transfer.(dpa)
