"I want to go back to my cell," Adem Yilmaz, 30, a Turkish citizen raised in Germany, called out at the start of the day's proceedings. He was duly ordered out of the courtroom. Yilmaz hugged his co- accused on the way out.

The PKK has been outlawed in Germany as a criminal gang because of its violence against renegade former members.

The German Football Federation's assembly approved the 3.30 p. m. (1330 GMT) kick-off for one game, with another match beginning at 5.30 p. m.

At present usually two matches are held on Sunday at 5 p. m.

German rail project cuts open Jewish grave Dusseldorf - Builders doing preparatory work for a new urban rail line in Germany cut open a Jewish grave and the human remains in it were removed for safekeeping, a municipal spokesman in the western German city of Dusseldorf said Tuesday.

Strict Jewish practice forbids the exhumation of human remains. The cemetery in Dusseldorf was in use until 1789.

Rabbi Julian Chaim Soussan of Dusseldorf told the German Press Agency dpa, "In all likelihood this is a Jewish corpse."
