Shujaat rejected Aziz's invitation for dinner twice
Feb.3: Pakistan Muslim League (Quami) president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain twice rejected invitations by former prime minister Shaukat Aziz in London to go out for dinner.
According to a report in The News, Hussain politely snubbed Aziz, but the latter still made an effort to meet Chaudhry in his hotel room to discuss junior cousin Pervaiz Elahi's criticism ofthe economic performance of his government.
When asked specifically about the future role of Shaukat Aziz in Pakistani politics at a news conference here, the PML-Q chief said it is now up to the former prime minister to decide about his future in Pakistani politics.
But one of Hussain's close aides is said to have laughed and suggested that the media should stop talking about Aziz's return to Pakistan, as that chapter has already been closed. (ANI)
