Shakespeare was a spitting image of Potter in his youth!
London, Sept 21 : Ever wonder what a young William Shakespeare would have looked like? Well, according to a police artist, he was a dead ringer for boy wizard Harry Potter.
Metropolitan police artist Cathy Charley used the process of “age procession” to create an image of a young Shakespeare.
With the help of portraits of the playwright, Charley used her knowledge of how faces change over time to create a picture of the Bard while young by going back in time, reports The Sun.
And, when the pic was completed, it turned out that the Bard could have given Daniel Radcliffe a run for his money for the role of JK Rowling’s literary character Harry Potter.
Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London has now decided to use the pic to promote its winter events. (With inputs from ANI)
