Samsung launches another Android based phoneTechnology major Samsung doesn’t seem to stop. This time it comes with its second Android phone –Galaxy portal i5700. The new phone model came with no puff, just slipped across the stores. The company seems to mark its territory with a stealth strategy.

Billed along its original Galaxy version this is priced dearly. This smartphone comes with 3.2 MP camera on a 3.2 inch TFT screen with 320 x 480 pixels resolution. To support the apps this has on board 800 MHz processor. The phone comes with 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi networking options. The Galaxy portal i5700 is loaded with Google applications and includes Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Calendar and Gtalk. The maximum offerings Google can provide Geo-tagging of images can be done.

This comes with Android 1.5 processor which seems to be ageing as the new Android based phones with powerful processors are the new trend. It is up to the Britons to decide whether they would go with this shelling out £20 per month on T-Mobile for this Korean maker.
