South Korean electronics major, Samsung’s Galaxy S II handset has remained the most popular smartphone in the UK for a second month ahead of rival Apple’s iPhone 4.

Samsung Galaxy S II handset again sold more units in the country compared to the iPhone. Galaxy S II, which runs on Google’s Android platform, is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor.

The Galaxy S II features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities, 1GB of RAM and a minimalist form factor.

Apple’s iPhone 4 held to its number two spot followed by HTC Sensation. HTC has emerged as one of the favorite brands as it took five of the remaining seven positing in list of the top ten of smartphones as per unit sales.
