Rumours of Kaka's move from AC Milan to ManU shake winter market

Rumours of Kaka's move from AC Milan to ManU shake winter market Rome  - A visit paid by a group of high-profile Manchester United officials to the headquarter of AC Milan has triggered a spate of rumours about the possible transfer of Brazilian Kaka to the English powerhouse.

Although a transfer of the 2007 Ballon d'Or winner could be likely only at the end of the season, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported Tuesday that ManU may have offered Milan vice president Adriano Galliani 100 million euros (132 million dollars) for the 26-year-old forward.

Milan owner and Italy's Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi also seemingly contributed to fuel rumours as he was quoted as saying: "I hope that (Kaka) is considered as not-for-sale. I know nothing about this offer."

Other rumours from England set Kaka's possible pay at 11.5 million euros per year if he joins the Premier League club. (dpa)
