Religare Commodities Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Religare Enterprises, has launched a specialized course in commodities - Certificate Program in Commodities (CPC) in association with Manipal Universal Learning Pvt. Ltd., a leading institute imparting management education.

The company claims that this is a first of its kind program by an educational institution in India that offers training in commodities and basis financial management. On successful completion of program, the students are likely to be placed in the sales and distribution function of Religare Commodites Ltd., as relationship manager.

In addition, the course fee shall also be reimbursed by the Religare Commodities Limited.

This is the first time in the country that any education institution i.e. Manipal Universal Learning Pvt. Ltd., is offering a course on commodities. Till date, the only other option available for formal education on commodities was courses offered by MCX and NCDEX.
