London, July 12 : The next time you go to the supermarket in the UK, you won’t be able to find your favourite can of Heinz Bakes Beans, for the food giant is dropping the word ‘baked’ from its label.

From now on, all cans will simply be labelled Heinz Beanz.

The company is hoping that the new wording will boost its image with health-conscious Brits.

“We have been powering the nation for over 100 years and we have given this iconic product a 21st-century makeover,” The Daily Star quoted Heinz marketing manager John Alderman, as saying.

“Parents can continue to feel confident feeding their families Heinz Beanz as a healthy, nutritious meal option.”
