Prague  - The Czech manufacturer Skoda has announced plans to build a station wagon version of the Superb for 2010 after the four- door sedan went on sale in Europe this month.

Berlin - German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Saturday that the memory of the short-lived democratic uprising in Czechoslovakia 40 years ago should be kept alive.
