New York, Apr. 3: The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen, has expressed concern that Pakistan may implode with nuclear weapons in near future, and also "use" them.
"My biggest concern is that if Pakistan gets to a point where it implodes, you've got a country that could be an Islamist, theocratic country with nuclear weapons which could both use them and proliferate them. One of our goals is to make sure that doesn't happen," The News quoted Admiral Mullen, as saying.

New York - A New York-based human rights group on Thursday urged the United Nations to declare April as Genocide Prevention Month. Six genocides - Bosnia, Rwanda, Cambodia, Armenia, the Holocaust and Darfur have significant anniversaries in April.
"We are trying to work with the United Nations to recognize the day," said Jonathan Freedman, spokesman for the Genocide Prevention Project. He said US Ambassador Susan Rice was to take part in a ceremony at UN headquarters related to the Rwandan genocide.
