Prison inmates celebrate ‘Bhai Dooj’ in Gwalior

Bhai DoojGwalior (Madhya Pradesh), Oct 30 : Prison inmates in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior Central Jail on Thursday celebrated the festival of ''Bhai Dooj'' with great fervour and enthusiasm.

Hundreds of women thronged the prison to be with their brothers to celebrate ''Bhai Dooj'' with them.

The women applied vermilion on their brother''s forehead and prayed for their safety. They also exchanged sweets on the occasion.

For the brothers serving sentences in the prison, the occasion provided a wonderful chance to be with their sisters.

Tulip Telecom Secure Contract Worth Rs 950 Million From MP

Tulip Telecom Ltd has informed that it has been awarded a contract worth Rs. 950 Tulip Telecom Secure Contract Worth Rs 950 Million From MP million by Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd. 

As per the order, Tulip Telecom will build a state-wide area network on the Build, Own, Operate & Transfer (BOOT) basis.

According to the sources, the proposed network, for a duration of 5 years, supports data, voice and video, and will facilitate the State to implement various e-Governance initiatives.
