MP Minister gets bailA local court of Madhya Pradesh has granted bail to Tourism Minister Tukoji Rao Pawar on Wednesday.

He was arrested for threatening and intimidating a lady returning officer.

Phoolchand Verma, who is also contesting with a BJP ticket was also granted bail. He was arrested in connection with the same case.

The two BJP leaders did not apply for bail on Tuesday and were taken to jail.

Both of them got bail after they furnished a security bond of Rs 5,000 each.

Bhopal, Madhya PradeshBhopal, Nov 11 : Madhya Pradesh Tourism Minister Tukoji Rao has been arrested for allegedly misbehaving with a Returning Officer.

He was later sent to judicial custody till November 24. The Collector of Devas has also been transferred in connection with the incident.

The BJP candidate and royal scion of Dewas, Phool Chand Verma was also arrested and jailed in connection with the incident last Saturday.

BJS National Secretary Inder Prajapat, while talking to reporters, said, "If she (Pragya) wishes, our party will field her from any seat in Madhya Pradesh against the BJP."
