New Delhi, Oct 2: The Oil Marketing Public Sector Undertakings (OMCs) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas is set to unveil a massive public grievance redressal mechanism across the country from today for domestic LPG, petrol and diesel.
As part of the exercise, perhaps the largest ever in the country, the three marketing companies viz., IOC, BPCL and HPCL have separately provided toll free numbers for complaint registration and follow up on the complaints.
Mehrangarh (Rajasthan), Oct 1 : A day after the stampede that killed at least 147 devotees, a handful of devotees came on Wednesday to offer prayers on the second day of the nine-day Navratri festival at the Chamunda Devi temple in Rajasthan.
The stampede occurred at the Chamunda Devi temple, inside a fort on top of a hill near Jodhpur.
Few devotees came to the temple to offer prayer for nine day Hindu festival of "Navratri".
The devotees who came to offer prayers said that lack of proper facilities in handling large crowds lead to the tragic incident killing many.

India can think over the foreign direct investment (FDI) from Pakistan. It would wait for the political stability in the country. It is to be noted that both countries do not allow FDI with each other. Explaining the matter, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jairam Ramesh said that India would consider security issues, political stability and other economic factors before allowing FDI on a case-by-case basis.
Jaipur, Oct 1: The Rajasthan Government has ordered a judicial probe into the Chamunda Devi Temple stampede in Jodhpur in which 147 were killed and over 100 were injured.
According to official sources, a retired judge of Rajasthan High Court will conduct investigation and will submit his report in three months.
It being the first Navratra, thousands of devotees had gathered early morning yesterday, at the temple situated on a hill top when the tragedy took place. Some of the devotees slipped on a slope causing the stampede.
