Hyderabad, Aug 1: The death toll in the Gautami Express fire accident has risen to 13, including a pregnant woman. Besides, four passengers were injured in the incident, which happened early this morning near Mehboobabad in the Warangal District of Andhra Pradesh.

Among the dead, four, including the pregnant woman and three physically challenged persons, belonged to the West Godavari District.

The fire broke out in one of the sleeper coaches, S-9, of the moving train, proceeding from Secunderabad to Kakinada around 1:30 a. m. and soon spread to four other coaches, Railway sources said.

Hyderabad, July 27 : All-India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will visit Gandhi Bhavan, the state Congress headquarters in Hyderabad today.

During his visit, Rahul will interact with the members of various cells of the party and frontal organisations and address a meeting of the state executive committee.

He is also scheduled to participate in a tele-conference with district unit presidents and inaugurate a set of computers linking state party office with its district units.

Hyderabad, July 26 : All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi arrived here today for a two-day visit to interact with students and academicians over the Indo-US civil nuclear deal issue and address executive meeting of the state congress.

The 90-minute interaction on "123 Ki Pathshala- a discussion on nuclear agreement” was organised by the state unit of National Students Union of India (NSUI) in Hyderabad.

Only students, academicians and NSUI office-bearers attended the discussion. Even the media was kept out of bounds of all his programmes, citing security reasons, according to Congress sources.

Consumer goods firm Dabur India Limited's retail subsidiary, H&B Stores Limited, has opened a store in Hyderabad, expanding its retail presence to seven in the country.

Over the next three months, The company will opens more new retail outlets, in Amritsar and Panchkula (Punjab), besides Gurgaon, Vasant Kunj and Indirapuram (Delhi-NCR).
