The Mobilio which is a multi-purpose vehicle is the third vehicle after Amaze to be based on Honda's popular hatchback Brio's platform. It has three rows of seats and can seat seven people.

It is set to lock horns with the likes of the Maruti Ertiga, Chevrolet Enjoy and Mahindra Xylo and is likely to be priced competitively between Rs. 8 and 10 lakh.

Government considers hiking subsidised LPG to 12 cylinders

M-Veerappa-MoilyGreater Noida, Jan 12 : The government is considering increasing the quota of subsidised cooking gas (LPG) cylinders from nine to 12 per household in a year, Petroleum Minister M.  Veerappa Moily said Sunday.

"I have read in the newspapers about (Congress vice-president) Rahul Gandhi taking up the issue of increasing the LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) cap with the prime minister.  I am yet to get comments from the Congress vice-president or the prime minister," he told reporters at the Petrotech 2014 conference here, on the national capital's outskirts.

Sharmila had a brilliant round scoring the lowest total. With an impressive score, Sharmila looks to be in great form post her return nursing an ankle injury. Her round consisted of six birdies on the second, fifth, eighth, ninth, 10th and 11th holes followed by a single bogey on the 17th hole.

Red Bull's Newey has his 'India moment' in traffic

Adrian-NeweyGreater Noida, Oct 26 : Like his fellow Formula 1 colleagues, Red Bull’s chief technical officer Adrian Newey also had his ‘India moment’ while travelling to the Buddh International Circuit (BIC).

The 54-year-old had a minor car accident while coming to the circuit Friday.

“We had a bit of an accident, only a small one, Friday while reaching the circuit. The car next to ours nicked us and went their way, rushing up the motorway as if nothing had happened,” Newey told IANS at the BIC paddock ahead of the Indian Grand Prix Sunday.

Vettel continues domination, tops third practice

Sebastian-VettelGreater Noida, Oct 26 : Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel topped the timesheets once again in the shortened third practice session of the Indian Grand Prix at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) here Saturday.

The German driver, who had topped the two practice sessions Friday, looks well set to bag pole position in the qualifying session later in the day. Vettel clocked one minute and 25.333 seconds, a remarkable 0.560 seconds ahead of second placed teammate Mark Webber.

Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso was third in 1:26.105.

Karthikeyan was really fast, says ex-teammate Ricciardo

Daniel-RicciardoGreater Noida, Oct 25 : Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo, who will drive for Red Bull in the 2014 Formula 1 season, has spoken highly of his former teammate Narain Karthikeyan.

“It was good working with Narain. He was really fast over a lap and he looked to push all the time. While you are doing that you are bound to make some mistakes,” Ricciardo, who replaced Karthikeyan in the HRT team in the middle of 2011, told IANS Friday ahead of the Indian Grand Prix Sunday.

Karthikeyan returned to the Spanish outfit for the Indian Grand Prix where he teamed up with Ricciardo. The Indian beat the Australian for 17th place.
