Melbourne, Mar 5 : The move to boost tourism at a north Queensland nudist colony turned into a mini riot after a guest refused to take his clothes off at a swinger sex party.

The White Cockatoo resort at Mossman, near Port Douglas, is promoting swingers and sex parties for the whole of March.

Its owner, Tony Fox, said that the "mini-riot" erupted when four naked female guests protested when confronted by the fully clothed man.

"They felt uncomfortable with him eyeing them off and I asked him to show some respect and take his clothes off," the Courier-Mail quoted him as saying.

Sydney  - A Melbourne teacher found guilty Thursday of having sex with a 15-year-old pupil was sentenced to 150 hours of community work.

Noel McNamara of the Crime Victims Support Association decried the sentence handed to 25-year-old Nazira Rafei as too lenient.

"I think they seem to be mainly in most cases female judges who hand down these sentences and think that it is OK for female teachers to interfere with young boys," he said. "We don't know what the end result is going to be with this lad."

Taufel arrived home in Sydney this morning, two days after being caught in the attack on the Sri Lankan team bus on the way to the Gaddafi Stadium in Pakistan for the third day of the second Test.

Melbourne, Mar 5: When it comes to producing elite female athletes, small towns excel in nurturing the best talent compared to big cities, says a new research.

In the Australian-Canadian study, involving American-born female athletes playing in the Ladies Professional Golf Association and the Women''s United Soccer Association, researchers looked at their place of birth.

They found about 57 pct of all adolescents were born in cities with a population less than 500,000.

Almost 85pct of professional female golfers and about 80pct of professional female soccer players were born in these less-dense communities.

Sydney, Mar 5: Cricket Australia has sent its officials to Dubai for a safety inspection for the one-day series next month against Pakistan, days after the Sri Lankan tean was fired upon in Lahore.

Cricket Australia officials, including Michael Brown and Australian Cricketers’ Association chief Paul Marsh are in Dubai for the pre-tour inspection, Australia captain Ricky Ponting said.

“Brute (team manager Steve Bernard) left us last night to go to Dubai to do the regular pre-tour visit,” Ponting said.
