The newly launched RedEye feature will now enable the users having iPhone and iPod to virtually control all the entertainment devices from any location at home.

All the electronic devices which receive infrared signal such as TV, stereo, cable box, DVD player, can be controlled by the iPode and iPhone with the help of the RedEye system.

Under RedEye system, the Apple device communicates with the RedEye base station through the customer's wireless network to control TVs, DVRs, stereos, gaming equipment and others. Moreover, the RedEye base station also acts as a charging dock.

The President and co-founder of ThinkFlood, Mr. Matt Eagar said, "We wanted to create something more than just another remote control. Internet connectivity and future software updates give us a lot of room to think big."

RedEye's activity based control suggests that users can program RedEye to perform a series of commands just with one touch. Interestingly, only the buttons appropriate to the activity emerge on the screen.
