Rasna launches “Fruitplus”; unveils plans to open retail stores in India
Rasna, a well-known brand for its soft drink concentrates, has launched ‘Fruitplus’, a fruit drink concentrate with natural goodness of fruits.
Fruitplus, is fortified with ingredients like fruit powder, Vitamin A, B, C etc. It is available in four flavours like orange, lemon, mango and pine-apple. The soft drink concentrates will be sold in bottled packs as well as pouches.
The company is eyeing a 10% market share in the fruit-based drinks category with Rasna Fruitplus.
During the launching ceremony, Rasna revealed its plans to set up more manufacturing plants abroad, to widen its network. At present, about 35% of company’s sales are coming from exports.
The company has about 93 % of the Rs 350-crore market and now also wants to launch products which are brand extensions such as flavoured tea and coffee powders and even launch products in the food and beverage categories.
The company is also looking at setting up branded retail stores under the shop-in-shop concept.
