Raj Faces Double Blow

A non- bailable arrest warrant has been issued against Raj Thackeray by the judicial Raj Faces Double Blow magistrate AK Tiwary. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief has been asked to appear on November 17 for the hearing.

The action was taken when a city advocate Hamid Raza Khan lodged a complaint against Thackeray for his “incendiary remarks” that were highly provocative in nature, and for making anti-Bihari and anti-north Indian remarks in Mumbai last year.

The court has directed Mumbai Police Commissioner to execute the warrant by sending a copy of its order to him.

It seemed that this was not enough for Raj when another blow came though not from Judiciary but from his uncle, Shiv Sena chief, Bal Thackeray who publicly accused him as a "backstabber''. Shiv Sena supremo in a hard-hitting article published in ‘Saamna’ reprimanded him for displaying ‘bogus sympathy’.
