Hewlett Packard has released its two new laptops that joins the brigade of existing Envy family - Envy 14 and Envy 17.

The Envy family gets a line extension with its already existing Envy 13 and Envy 15 notebooks. The Apple's MacBook Pro resembling Envy 14 and Envy 17 are very much similar to the existing Envy 13 and 15 laptops except for the performance. These stylized Magnesium chassis notebooks are equipped with quad-core Intel processors (Intel Core i3, i5 or i7) and feature an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5830 discrete graphics onboard. Thus, serving the gaming needs at the same time HD and 3D viewing.

The Envy 14 comes with a 14.5-inch diagonal HD Radiance display offering that gives a 59 percent more bright display than any other notebook. It comes with WWAN/3G for Internet connectivity, backed up with six hours of battery life.

On the other hand, Envy 17 comes with up to 2TB HDD storage capacity, ATI's multi-monitor Eyefinity technology and HP's Triple Bass Reflex Subwoofer for audio needs.

The best part which is common in both the notebooks is Beats Audio - a high-performance technology developed by HP and Beats by Dre for optimal audio experience while playing music through headphones or external speakers.

Other features that are found in both notebooks are the HP TrueVision HD webcam, slot-loading optical drive, mini DisplayPort connector, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Pricing Envy 14 at $1,000 (Rs. 44,919 approx.) and the Envy 17 for $1,400 (Rs. 62,882 approx.) it is still unsure when these models would be made available in India.
