Kathmandu, June 30 : Communist Party of Nepal–Unified Marxist-Leninist (CPN-UML) General Secretary Jhala Nath Khanal on Monday said that the demand for ‘one Madhes one state’ will lead the country towards disintegration.

Stating that the model for a new Nepal will be multiregional, Khanal remarked that the demand to declare the entire Terai region one Madhes state will harm any sense of nationality.
