Sanctity of LoC ceasefire will be respected, say India and Pak Foreign Secretaries

India to discuss terrorism with Pakistan: Menon

Shiv Shankar MenonNew Delhi, May 14 : The Foreign Secretary Shiv Shankar Menon today said that the fourth round of India’s composite dialogue with Pakistan would focus on maintaining peace and security and added that the issue of terrorism would be high on the agenda.

He said the Foreign Secretary-level and Foreign Ministerial talks will also include six other topics.

India willing to review 1950 treaty

Shiv Shanker MenonKathmandu, Apr 30 : Foreign Affairs Secretary Shiv Shankar Menon on Wednesday said that India was willing to review the 1950 Indo-Nepal peace and friendship treaty under the present circumstances.

According to Kantipur, Menon said that the Indian government was ready to amend the 1950 treaty as per the present context so as to develop a new and high-level relationship between the two countries.
