Facebook recently announced investment in Reliance Platforms and the deal will boost Reliance Jio’s presence in Indian retail via Facebook’s social networking app WhatsApp.

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has undisputed position on the top in the list of rich Indians. He is followed by Radhakrishan Damani with combined assets of USD 11.7 billion.

Washington, Mar 10 : Twenty-four Indians have made it into the Forbes magazine’s list of ‘World’s Richest’ with Steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal in fourth place.

Four Indians made it to the top 10, including Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani and K. P. Singh in the fifth, sixth and eighth places respectively.

PepsiCo has won the sponsorship for Mukesh Ambani’s IPL team, Mumbai Indians (MI) for the upcoming second season of the much awaited tournament.

As part of the deal, PepsiCo will get branding, promotion and pouring rights for the MI team, and the brand will be featured on the players' apparel and helmets.

The company has also acquired exclusive pouring rights at home matches, besides being the official beverage for the same team.

Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries (RIL) secured third slot in the list of 10 wealthiest CEOs compiled by Forbes magazine. Mr. Ambani, whose stake in the petrochemical firm is valued at $16.8 billion, managed to get place in the list despite 62% drop in RIL share prices since January 2008. The list is prepared on the basis of the value of the CEOs' financial stake in the companies they control.
