Melbourne, Jan 6 : Michael Clarke's fiance Lara Bingle has followed in his footsteps - by getting herself tattooed.

Bingle's tattoo on her right wrist reads "Wish you were here", reports Herald Sun.

It was clearly visible when she threw her arms in the air at the Sydney Cricket Ground celebrating the Australian vice-captain reaching his century in the third Test against South Africa.

Sydney, Jan. 5 : Batsman Michael Clarke has delivered immense reassurance to his team in desperate times, and is being seen as the natural leader of Australia''s changing cricket team.

Having scored his tenth century in the ongoing Sydney Test against South Africa, there is nothing premature about the 27-year-old''s recognition as the main man of the Australian middle order.

Clarke is the leading run-scorer in the series, with 342 at 85.5, including yesterday''s 138.

Sydney, Dec. 11: There is still apprehension among some Australian players about touring India or Pakistan in the wake of the recent terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

Some senior players have told The Australian they are uncertain about future tours.

Australian vice captain Michael Clarke said on Wednesday that security is a key issue he had to weigh up when considering a possible signing with the Indian Premier League in 2009.

"I have a lot of things to consider. Obviously I have to think about the amount of cricket we are playing, I am trying to plan a wedding as well and I have to think about what has happened there recently," Clarke was quoted, as saying.

"The WACA is going to be very fast and bouncy and I think we will be in for a bit of pace from the quicks from both sides. Australia has been very successful on wickets that have bounce and carry and some pace and our record at the WACA and Gabba, where the wickets have been very fast, over the years has been very good," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Clarke, as saying.

Clarke endorsed skipper Ricky Ponting’s claims that cricketers’ calendars were too full, an issue which will dominate discussions for the new memorandum of understanding between the players and Cricket Australia.
