Washington, Feb 18 : British actress Kate Winslet credits her toned physique to "a wing and a prayer", insisting she's "too busy" to even think about exercising.
The Oscar nominee, who has struggled with weight since she was a teenager, insists she hasn''t been slimming down for the big ceremony.
When asked if she was dieting, Winslet said, "N. O. (I) absolutely do not. I''m very sort of relaxed and vocal about these things. I have not done a stitch of exercise since October. I literally have not had the time."
Washington, February 16 : A renowned journalist and author has slammed Kate Winslet's film `The Reader' as "the worst Holocaust film ever made".
Ron Rosenbaum, whose acclaimed 1998 book `Explaining Hitler: The Search for the Origins of His Evil' gathered much critical success, has called upon the BAFTA- and Golden Globe Award-winning drama to be overlooked at the Academy Awards ceremony on February 22.
"This is a film whose essential metaphorical thrust is to exculpate Nazi-era Germans from knowing complicity in the Final Solution," Contactmusic quoted Ron as writing in online magazine Slate.
New York, Feb 16: English actress Kate Winslet has revealed that while studying illiterate people for her role as a Nazi in the film `The Reader', she realised that they were ashamed of themselves and could not maintain a relationship.
Winslet revealed that the people she studied were so mortified by their weaknesses that they were not able to have emotions.
"None of the people I worked with were married," the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.
