Mumbai, Sep 18 - Former Miss India and Bollywood actress Gul Panag, who is known to be a fitness enthusiast, believes in having a robust lifestyle but maintains that she doesn't blindly follow a fitness routine.
"My fitness mantra is adaptability. I keep in mind that I need to do 45 minutes of intense physical activity a day, whether I am travelling or whether it is raining. And so I adapt my fitness plan according to the situation," Gul told IANS in an interview.
Gul Panag will tie the nuptial knot with her former classmate and boy friend Rishi Attari on Sunday.
Rishi Attari is a pilot by profession.
Gul and Rishi will have a secret Punjabi wedding in Chandigarh, to be attended by their close relatives.
The reports said that ace fashion designers Anita Dongre and JJ Vallaya have designed their marriage outfits.
Recently, the 'Turning 30' actress threw a gala bachelorette party in the national capital for her friends.
The mehendi and sangeet ceremonials will rake place in Chandigarh.
Turning 30 !!! is a movie by debutant director Alankrita Shrivastava. Starring Gul Panag and Purab Kohli, the film tells the story of Naina (Gul), who has turned 30 and how her life changes with that. She is an ambitious and talented girl working in an advertising agency in Mumbai.
However, as soon as she turns 30, her photographer boyfriend (Purab) dumps her and she loses her promising job. She will be seen struggling with this change and anxieties in life. Purab, who has also turned 30, returns Mumbai after a long stay in London.
A new film ‘Turning 30’ will be releasing in the second week of the New Year and will be starring model Gul Panag. The film is about women who tend to get a little worked up when they enter into their 30s.
The film is directed by Filmmaker Alankrita Srivastava's. Some women see it as a fresh new phase of the life while others tend to get touchy on even the thought of turning 30.
Gul Panag who recently turned 30 in her real life, plays a woman in the film dealing with a heartbreak, and a crisis in her career around her 30th birthday.
Gul Panag said recently in an interview besides the physical changes, a lot of poking about self assessment starts in the head.
Actress Gul Panag, who is presently in Delhi to attend the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon 2010 experienced a very unpleasant turn of events which she shared with the media and her fans. It is not unknown that the actress has always been a fitness freak and it was primarily for this reason that she decided to be a part of the Half Marathon this year. Unfortunately, Gul Panag was very disappointed with the behavior of some Delhi boys and men during a prominent part of the run which started at the Nehru Stadium in the city. She was reportedly manhandled in the course of the marathon.
Mumbai, Nov 24 - Former beauty queen-turned-actress Gul Panag is planning to mount an international film with Britain-based Italian origin director Ovidio Salazar in which she will also be acting.
"I am trying to mount a project with a friend of mine, Ovidio Salazar, whom I met at the film festival in Russia, where I was in the jury. It's an international project we are trying to put together," Gul, 31, told IANS.
Bollywood actress Gul Panag, who participated in the Delhi Marathon 2010, said that she was sexually harassed by some unknown participants at the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon 2010.
Some other celebrities including Bipasha Basu, Arshad Warsi, Rahul Bose, Urmila Matondkar and Dhanraj Pillai were also present at the event.
Gul said that the incident had not surprised her as she had already expected it to happen in the National capital.
The offenders molested her at the beginning of the race, but she was not discouraged and therefore continued her race.
New Delhi, Nov 26 : She has a passion for bike and owns an Enfield 350 Electra 5S but Bollywood actress Gul Panag had to drop the idea of going for a ride when she noticed that petrol was stolen from her two-wheeler.
"Wanted to ride the Enfield today. Shocked to find entire petrol 'stolen', tank dry. Have settled on being driven to gym, audition, meetings," Gul posted on her Twitter homepage Thursday.(IANS)
It is learnt that Gul Panag was involved in a minor accident in Mumbai on Saturday, June 6 the evening while she was riding pillion with her brother.
Our sources revealed, "Gul was on an Enfield 350 Electra 5S with her brother when their bike skidded on a patch of oil. But fortunately both were left unhurt.
Gul has been quoted on this stating, “How the mighty fall! Had an oil skid riding the Enfield with brother -pillion. Alive and in one piece."
She further stated that a bus was right behind her when they fell. It was motorcycle’s leg guard that saved her from injuries.
