Washington, Mar 19 : ''Desperate Housewives'' star Eva Longoria Parker has been voted the `Sexiest Woman on U. S. TV' in a new magazine poll.

Parker has said that she can''t believe TV Guide''s bosses picked her - because her character in `Desperate Housewives' has been all frumpy in episodes dating back to last year.

"I think the timing for this is pretty funny actually, but also really great," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

Washington, March 7 : Actress Eva Longoria Parker turned chef at her restaurant and donated an in-home dinner to raise funds for charity.

The `Desperate Housewife' star recently put the catered dinner, along with tableside service of her own guacamole, for auction to raise funds for the New York Rescue Workers Detox Project at her Beso in Hollywood.

The ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress says that she divides her time between L. A., where she shoots the hit sitcom; Texas, where Tony plays for basketball team; and her in-laws’ home in France.

Longoria admits that these long distances make her and her husband value each moment they spend together, which is why they never fight.

The actress, who found love at 32, advises women to be open to dating if they would like to find their life partners.

"Just get out there and meet people," the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying.
