London, February 11 : Chris Martin is depending upon his Coldplay bandmates to come out of their refuge and take away the spotlight from him - since he cannot bear being stuck as the "famous one".

The singer has been a favourite with the paparazzi, partially owing to his marriage with much sought-after actress Gwyneth Paltrow, and his insistence on getting away from the paparazzi.

And the band's frontman is now awaiting help from drummer Will Champion to come to his rescue.

Washington, Feb 5 : Coldplay's lead vocalist Chris Martin and his band members are being served with a lawsuit by musician Joe Satriani over plagiarism.

In the lawsuit, Satriani claims that Coldplay lifted his 2004 instrumental, "I Just Wanna Fly," for the basic melody of "Viva La Vida," which Coldplay in turn has disputed, with a rebuke on their website.

But that hasn't stopped Satriani or his attorney Howard King of King Paterno, from claiming that Coldplay has dodged being served, and that the Grammys are the easiest forum at which to strike while the iron is hot.

Washington, February 2 : Chris Martin has revealed that he has been banned from putting a step into the studio, while his band Coldplay record songs for their new album.

The singer was asked to temporarily step back following suggestions from legendary music producer Brian Eno, who has previously worked with the group on their immensely successful album `Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends'.

Washington, December 30 (ANI): Coldplay's Chris Martin had been left red-faced when he was refused entry at his own concert in native England after the security was unable to identify the singer.

The band's lead vocalist, who had to explain his identity to the guards, had gotten on an underground train to reach the band''s latest sold-out concert in London.

The rocker, known for his unwillingness to be snapped, spoke of the embarrassment at the O2 arena incident.

Washington, Dec 17 : Gwyneth Paltrow's mom has denied rumours that her daughter's marriage to Coldplay's Chris Martin is on the rocks, insisting that the couple is `fine' together.

The rumours of the split started making the rounds because in recent months, no pictures have been taken of the couple together.

But, Gwyneth's mom, actress Blythe Danner was taken aback by the reports and slammed all such rumours.

"They don't take pictures together if they can avoid it. It's a strategy. They don't want the pandemonium," Fox News quoted Danner as saying.

In fact, she said the couple are just fine.

"They're staying in England for the new year. Then coming here."

New Delhi, Dec 6 : Coldplay’s lead vocalist Chris Martin has denied claims that the band will split within two years.

Earlier quotes attributed to the singer suggested that the rock band would soon part ways.

However, in a new interview with Rolling Stone, Martin emphasized that the band, which is behind many world-renowned albums, is very much together, reports China Daily.

"We''re proceeding as if it''s our last because it''s the only way to proceed," he said of plans to record a follow-up to Viva La Vida.
