The fight cost Brown his `Got Milk?' ad campaign, and also forced bosses at gum firm Wrigley to shelve commercials featuring him, but Melvin James, the writer/director of Brown''s upcoming movie Caramel, insists that he is keeping the star in his film.

London, Feb 13 : Beleaguered singer Chris Brown, who is under fire for allegedly attacking Rihanna and leaving her with horrific injuries, is reportedly hiding in Las Vegas.

Sources have revealed that Brown, who has been charged with making criminal threats, is holed up in a Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel in a bid to keep away from negative publicity.

"They had to kick out any paparazzi that were around and get him tons of security to sneak him in," the Daily Star quoted a source as telling E! News.

Brown, who has become a subject of constant media glare, was freshly pictured leaving the L. A police station and returning to his West Hollywood hotel, since then he has moved to Las Vegas.

The bosses of 96.5 KISS FM have revealed that they were flooded with complaints from angry fans, who have vetoed Brown's music after he allegedly threatened to kill Rihanna.

Considering the situation, the Producers have declared that they would be eliminating Chris Brown's songs from their playlists.

Chris BrownWashington, Feb 12 : Chris Brown's former blind stepfather Donnelle Hawkins has denied that he ever physically abused the singer's mother, but admitted that he regretted threatening to shoot himself because that might have had a bad effect on Brown.

"We were together as a family (but) some things happened, where I felt our relationship was slipping away - that I was losing her (Brown''s mother)," Contactmusic quoted Hawkins as telling in American show Access Hollywood.

"I made a foolish attempt by getting the gun (sic) and threatening to shoot myself. It wasn''t a suicide attempt," he added.

Cops to question Chris Brown and Rihanna once again

The L. A police department has been pursuing the case ever since it was reported that Brown allegedly attacked Rihanna, and left her with horrific injuries, including a split lip, a bloody nose and bite marks on her hands.

While Brown is facing the backlash of the incident, Rihanna is getting major support from the music industry, including longtime pal and assistant Melissa Forde, who has been by her side after she was hospitalized.
