London, Mar 16 : Singer Chris Brown is bent on proving that he has not committed a major crime by allegedly attacking Rihanna, for he reportedly says that it was a mere "lovers' tiff".

Sources have revealed that Brown insists that the attack in question was just an altercation between a passionately in love duo.

"He will argue it was a misunderstanding between two young people passionately in love," the Sun quoted a source as saying.

Washington, Mar 14: Despite reports suggesting that Rihanna and Chris Brown have recorded a song together, a source has confirmed that there’s no duet.

"Contrary to published reports, Chris Brown and Rihanna did not record a duet after the incident," People quoted a source, alluding to Brown''s alleged assault of his girlfriend last month, as saying.

According to the source, duet buzz may have ignited because of a standard practice used during the development of new material.

New York, Mar 13  Media mogul Oprah Winfrey has lashed out at Rihanna for reconciling with Chris Brown, who allegedly attacked her, as she feels Rihanna's low self-esteem made her do what she did.

Oprah Winfrey dedicated an episode on her show to the victims of domestic violence, while talking about Chris Brown, who allegedly attacked Rihanna and left her with horrific injuries.

Winfrey went on to say that the `Umbrella' hitmaker returned to Brown, as she doesn't feel good about herself.

Washington, Mar 13 : Popstar Chris Brown's lawyer has urged the court to hold an `in chambers' hearing before the final hearing on April 6th.

According to TMZ. com the hearing, which will take place on March 23rd, will involve Rihann's testimony.

However Jane Robison of the Los Angeles District Attorney''s office revealed that, as it is an `in chambers' hearing not much will be revealed about the happenings.

"Since it''s in chambers, we can''t comment on anything that happens," US Weekly quoted Jane, as saying.

London, Mar 12 : Singer Chris Brown, who was a few days ago urging young kids to vote for him, has reportedly pulled out of the Nickledeon Kid's Choice awards, after being charged with two felony counts for his alleged attack on Rihanna.

Brown was nominated in the `Favorite male singer' and `Favorite song' categories, but enraged fans launched online petition urging organizers Nickleodeon to remove his name.

The petition was signed by 10,000 people.

Brown later withdrew from the awards, according to reports.
