Washington - US President Barack Obama on Saturday thanked Congress for passing a 787-billion-dollar economic stimulus bill, which he called "a major milestone on our road to recovery."
In his weekly address he also warned that "this historic step won't be the end of what we do to turn our economy around, but the beginning."
Chicago, February 14 : An "Illinois Salutes Barack Obama" licence plate has been unveiled in the State, which can be used for 60 days from Tuesday onwards.
The temporary licence place was unveiled by Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White.
Proceeds from the Barack Obama license plate will benefit libraries in the State.
President Obama appears to be smiling in the plates, seemingly gazing towards the temporary numbers.

Washington, February 14: While U.S. President Barack Obama's blackberry has been claimed to be a spy-proof device, the world''s most famous hacker Kevin Mitnick says that it can still be breached.
He said that Obama''s super-secure BlackBerry only makes cracking into it more challenging, but it can still be done.
"It's a long shot, but it''s possible. You''d probably need to be pretty sophisticated, but there''s people out there who are," Fox News quoted Mitnick as saying.
Washington, Feb. 12 : Republicans have zeroed into Indian American Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal to give their official response to President Obama''s February 24 address to a joint session of Congress.
"Governor Jindal embodies what I have long said: the Republican Party must not be simply the party of ''opposition,'' but the party of better solutions," the Washington Times quoted House Minority Leader John A. Boehner (Ohio Republican) as saying while announcing the party's decision.
Washington - US President Barack Obama intends to work toward Middle East peace regardless of who forms Israel's new government, the White House said Wednesday, following Tuesday's elections.
"President Obama looks forward to working with whoever makes up that next Israeli government in a search for lasting and durable peace in the region," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said.
Elections Tuesday in Israel failed to produce a clear winner. Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni of the Kadima party and Likud's Benjamin Netanyahu both declared victory, with 99 per cent of ballot counted.
